Mfg from: 1989 to 1991 Weight: 9 lbs Notes: this V90 model is identical to the V90 above except for the Floyd Rose tremolo system and plastic covers on the pickups. Gibson L-8 bridge pickups and L-4 single coil neck pickups are used on both. Out of the four colors, I have only seen the black and the white (which I own). After 7 years of hunting I haven't found any more. The 1989 Orion blue book stated that a limited run of 600 V90's were made in Nuclear Yellow. This a really nice playing and great sounding flying V! Gibson regarded the V90 with its single/hum pickups as being "redundant" and discontinued it in '92.
